Changes in dealing with Effluent Over the past decade we have seen companies move from just the dumping waste to the management of waste through recycling, re-use, or at the very least compliance for disposal of effluent to sewer. Some of the changes include: Enforcement of minimum compliance standards by councils Increased costs from waste disposal companies Understanding by companies that effluent needs to be managed responsibly and cost effectively Higher expectations from clients: their desire to deal with socially and environmentally responsible companies New natural technologies using organic, biological processes for cleaning effluent and/or bio-remediation of contaminated waste or soil
The team at ETS have a long association with oil pollution and effluent treatment and specialise in, Plant Design, Upgrade and “Organic” Treatment of effluent plants. Our focus is on introducing relatively simple and affordable systems to achieve pH balancing Odour control COD reduction Solids removal and recycling Spill prevention Spill cleanup Use of non-hazardous materials for cleaning and waste water treatment Minimal maintenance systems Compliance and, if needed, re-use of waste water
We at ETS have seen that by using natural “ORGANIC” processes combined with technologies for separating effluent or treating aspects of the effluent, one can bring the final effluent to well within acceptable limits for safe disposal to local authorities Our approach has been successful across a wide range of industries, mostly without too many changes, and often with minimal capital infrastructure. The environment is about quality… a principle that permeates through ETS in all the technologies, equipment, products and services |
